Media credentials are issued for official business only. Working press wishing to access a Drum Corps International (DCI) event MUST request media credentials through DCI in writing. Freelancers must also submit proof of assignment signed by their editor in addition to their request submission. DCI at its sole discretion may determine who is or is not DCl-recognized media and has the right to grant access at its sole discretion as well.
By accepting a credential, the journalist and entity accept and agree to the terms and conditions for media credentials and a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable permit to access a DCI event for news coverage.
Photos captured during or on location at DCI produced or sanctioned events are restricted for EDITORIAL USE ONLY in publication by the media agency requesting the credential. They may not otherwise be sold or displayed in any way and for any purpose without the specific written permission of Drum Corps International. This includes but is not limited to:
By accepting a photography credential, photographers understand and agree that DCI is deemed the agent of any person whose photograph is taken under the license of these regulations, and may pursue all remedies for a violation of said individual’s rights of privacy or publicity by you or any third party to which you license or sell any photograph.
